DVD Data Recovery from Video Cameras

Some of our customers that own DVD Video Recording equipment have found that sometimes errors occur that will not let them finalise a DVD rendering it useless.

We have developed a new technique that enables us to recover Video Camera DVD that have not been finalised.

The sysmptoms are that when the DVD is placed in a computer it shows as 0 bytes and as if there is nothing on it, and when it is placed back in the camera it shows as unrecorded.

The technique we developed involved modifications to a SCSI DVD reader where we can gain direct access to firmware that enables us to read the DVD even when they report as zero bytes.

If you have taken your DVD to a computer shop or another date recovery company and they were unable to recover the data, there is a very good chance that we will be able to recover.

The technique we have developed also allows us to recover from unfinalised data CD and DVD media.

Most manuals that we have seen recommend putting the computer on a firm surface like a desk or a table and in fact NOT putting it on your lap - strange that they are called 'laptops' when it is not recommended to use them as such. Some manufacturers have developed hardware that detects when the computer is being moved and pulls the heads to a saf...
